Developed by the Independence Chamber of Commerce, LEAD (Leadership Education and Development) Independence is designed to cultivate informed, engaged, and connected leaders who are committed to the continued growth and success of our community.

Through interactive sessions, behind-the-scenes experiences, and meaningful discussions with community leaders, participants gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities, challenges, and organizations that shape Independence. LEAD Independence provides a roadmap for personal leadership growth while building lasting relationships with fellow professionals and community stakeholders.

Whether you are an emerging leader, a seasoned professional, or someone looking to become more involved in the community, LEAD Independence will equip you with the knowledge, connections, and confidence to make a meaningful impact.

We meet 8:45am-4:30pm the 3rd Thursday each month September-May. It is IMPERATIVE to the program that each participant attends all days for the FULL day. Please share how you will make sure you are in attendance each month.
